Classic Taylor Pork Roll,
Egg & Cheese

Ingredients:

1 Pound Taylor Pork Roll or Two 6 oz. packages of sliced Taylor Pork Roll
4 slices of White American Cheese or Cheese of your choice
2 large Eggs
2 Kaiser Rolls or Rolls of choice
1 teaspoon of Butter

Classic Taylor Pork Roll, Egg & Cheese
  1. With great aplomb and mouthwatering anticipation, unwrap the delicious slices of Taylor Pork Roll.
  2. Make four cuts in each individual slice of Taylor Pork Roll from the outer edges inwards about a ½ inch towards the center evenly spaced around the circumference. These cuts leave the cooked piece of Taylor Pork Roll looking like an old fireman’s badge and prevent it from curling up in the middle while cooking.
  3. Put a teaspoon of butter in a frying pan and add the slices of Taylor Pork Roll. Place it on the stove at medium heat and fry until the Taylor Pork Roll sizzles and the edges turn golden brown.

French Toast, Taylor Pork Roll & Cheese

Ingredients:

8 slices of Taylor Pork Roll
Challah Bread Loaf
14 Eggs (6 for batter and 8 for sandwiches)
3 cups Milk
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Nutmeg

4 tablespoons Caramel Sauce
2 tablespoons Vanilla Sauce
½ stick Unsalted Butter
Pinch of Kosher Salt
Powder Sugar
Maple Syrup

  1. Slice challah bread loaf into 1 ½ – 2 inch thick slices.
  2. In a large bowl, make the batter by whisking together 6 eggs, milk, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla sauce, and caramel sauce.
  3. Submerge each slice of challah bread into mixture for 1 minute to absorb the batter. Don’t let it get mushy.
  4. At medium heat melt the unsalted butter in a skillet.
  5. Grill each slice of the challah bread 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

2 Hamburger patties
4 slices of American, Cheddar or Cheese of your choice
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices

2 toasted Hamburger Buns (or Brioche Buns)

  2. Pan fry or grill hamburger patties to your liking

Taylor Pork Roll Mac N’ Cheese

Ingredients:

Taylor Pork Roll (2 packages of sliced or ½ of a 3 pound roll)
½ pound Elbow Macaroni
1 tablespoon Flour
2 tablespoons Butter
½ cup Bread Crumbs
2 cups Milk
1/8 teaspoon Paprika
½ pound Cheddar Cheese (diced)
¼ teaspoon Salt
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

Taylor Pork Roll Mac N’ Cheese
  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cook macaroni according to directions and drain.
  3. With great aplomb and mouthwatering anticipation, unwrap the delicious Taylor Pork Roll.
  4. Dice Taylor Pork Roll to your desired size.
  5. Lightly grease 2-quart casserole dish. Stir in together diced Taylor Pork Roll and Macaroni.
  6. In medium saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and blend in flour, salt, black pepper and cayenne until smooth. Stir in milk and cook over medium heat and stir until it thickens and boils. Add cheese and stir until melted. Pour over macaroni and Taylor Pork Roll and mix well.
  7. Melt remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and stir in the bread crumbs and paprika. Sprinkle evenly on top and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Pizza Pie (make your own or pre-packaged)
Cherry Tomatoes
Basil Leaves
Pizza Sauce (1 jar or can)
Fresh Mozzarella
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Kosher or Sea Salt
Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

  1. Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees F.
  2. Spread ¾ cup of pizza sauce evenly on the pizza pie, leaving 1 inch bare around the perimeter of the pie.
  3. With great aplomb and mouthwatering anticipation, unwrap your delicious Taylor Pork Roll.
  4. Slice four cuts in each individual slice of Taylor Pork Roll from the outer edges inwards about a ½ inch towards the center evenly spaced around the circumference. Baked Glazed Taylor Pork Roll

Ingredients:

3 Pound Taylor Pork Roll
Fresh Pineapple or 1 can of sliced Pineapple
1 jar Maraschino Cherries
2/3 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup of Pineapple Juice or 7UP (or a mixture of both)
2 teaspoons Mustard
1 teaspoon Vinegar
2 teaspoons Water
1 teaspoon Butter
Cloves

Baked Glazed Taylor Pork Roll
  1. Preheat oven to hot 375 degrees F.
  2. With great aplomb and mouthwatering anticipation, unwrap the delicious Taylor Pork Roll.
  3. Score the top of the Taylor Pork Roll with a sharp knife in a diagonal lattice pattern.
  4. Insert the cloves at each intersecting point of the scored lines.
  5. Place the 3 Pound Taylor Pork Roll in a shallow baking pan on a rack and pour the pineapple juice or 7UP (or a mixture of both) in the pan.
  6. Combine brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and water to make a glaze. Brush glaze mixture over the Taylor Pork Roll.
  7. Place the pan with the Taylor Pork Roll in the oven and bake for 35-45 minutes or until meat is warm in the center. Baste with glaze mixture occasionally while cooking.
  8. Whisk together butter and brown sugar in a pan. Place the pineapple slices in the pan on medium heat and grill for approximately 7-10 minutes until the caramelized pineapple slices turn golden brown.

Ingredients:

1 Pound Taylor Pork Roll or 6 oz. package of sliced Taylor Pork Roll
3-4 large Eggs
5 medium size Tomatoes
6 Golden Baby Potatoes
4 tablespoons Butter or Olive Oil
1 (8 oz.) can Baked Beans
Sea Salt
Pepper

  2. Prep the potatoes: Wash the potatoes and pat them dry. Slice them in half. In a large bowl, mix them with olive oil, sea salt and pepper.
  3. Roast: Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the potatoes in an even layer. Roast for about 30-35 minutes without stirring until browned and fork tender.
  4. Score the bottom of the tomatoes and place them in a baking dish with scored side up.
  5. Bake the tomatoes in a baking dish in a hot oven (400 degrees F.) for about 10 minutes.
